The Greater Rochester Faith Inclusion Network (GRO-FIN) was organized in 2019 to serve as an interfaith resource for individuals, families, friends, and faith communities in the greater Rochester, New York region.
Individuals with disabilities & their families have opportunity to access and be a part of a faith community of their choosing in the Greater Rochester region.
Faith and spiritual spaces embrace all members of their community as valuable and equal.
Helping faith/spiritual-based communities move in line with their values and traditions in the spirit of mutuality, respect, and belonging with the belief that the full body includes all. We will do this by:

Support individuals with disabilities and their families in finding faith or spiritual communities where they belong
Provide a safe space for individuals with disabilities and their families to share their experiences with ableism and learn from their stories.
Educate faith communities on inclusion for individuals with disabilities and their families
Build interfaith collaboration
